Documents we translate and legalize

These are the documents we work with every day. If yours is not listed, send it anyway — we handle almost every kind of official and business document.

  • Birth certificate

Birth certificates are needed for immigration, passports, citizenship, marriage abroad and school registration. Guyanese birth certificates are issued by the General Register Office.

  • Marriage certificate

A translated and apostilled marriage certificate proves your marriage abroad — for spousal visas, name changes and family reunification.

  • Death certificate

Death certificates are required to settle estates, claim insurance and pensions, and close accounts in another country.

  • Divorce decree

A divorce decree from the High Court must often be translated and apostilled before you can remarry or update your status abroad.

  • Police clearance certificate

Police clearance certificates from the Guyana Police Force are required for work permits, residency and immigration in most countries.

  • Diplomas and academic transcripts

Diplomas, CXC/CSEC and CAPE certificates, degrees and transcripts are translated and apostilled for study, credential evaluation and professional registration abroad.

  • Passport and national ID

Certified copies and translations of passports and ID cards are used to prove identity in visa files, bank accounts and company registrations.

  • Driver's licence

Translate a foreign driver's licence for use in Guyana, or a Guyanese licence for use abroad.

  • Power of attorney

Powers of attorney let someone act on your behalf for property, banking, court or family matters. We prepare them bilingually and apostille them when needed.

  • Company documents

Certificates of incorporation, articles, business names, good-standing certificates and board resolutions for registration, tenders and banking abroad.

  • Contracts and agreements

Employment, commercial, lease and sales contracts translated precisely, with terminology kept consistent across every clause.

  • Court documents

Judgments, orders, summons and legal pleadings translated for use in courts, arbitration and immigration proceedings.

  • Medical records

Medical reports, vaccination records and prescriptions translated for treatment abroad, insurance claims and immigration medicals.

  • Bank and financial statements

Bank statements, payslips, tax returns and financial statements translated for visa files, loans and audits.
